2017 RPI Ranks 10.2.2017

Here are teams' actual ARPI ranks based on games played through Sunday, October 1.  This also shows, based on the last 10 years' experience, which teams are potential candidates for #1 through #4 seeds and which teams are potential "bubble" teams for at large selections, as of this week in the season.  Teams with better ranks than the best ranked side of the bubble always have gotten at large selections over the last 10 years, and teams with poorer ranks than the poorest ranked side of the bubble never have gotten at large selections.  It's always possible that the candidate perimeters will change, but it isn't likely.
