2017 NCAA Tournament Bracket Simulation 10.23.2017

Here are this week's simulated NCAA Tournament bracket seeds, at large selections, and non-selections based on the actual results of games played through Sunday, October 22 and simulated results of games not yet played.  The simulated results are based on teams' actual current ARPIs as adjusted for game locations.  The simulation uses the actual conference tournament brackets for those conferences that have completed regular season play and simulated brackets for those conferences with tournaments but that have not yet completed regular season conference play.

Here is the key for the NCAA Seed or Selection column:

1 = #1 seed
2 = #2 seed
3 = #3 seed
4 = #4 seed
5 = unseeded automatic qualifier
6 = unseeded at large selection
7 = teams in top 60 not getting at large selections
8 = teams disqualified from at large selection due to record below 0.500 (none)
9 = teams outside top 60 that are potential at large selections (none)

At the bottom of the table, I've indicated other potential seed candidates.  All of the seed and at large selection candidates fall within the ranges from which those seeds or selections have come, as of this stage of the season, over the last 10 years.
