EVALUATION OF TEAMS FOR NCAA TOURNAMENT PURPOSES BASED ON ACTUAL RESULTS OF GAMES PLAYED THROUGH SEPTEMBER 11 AND SIMULATED RESULTS OF FUTURE GAMES

With the discussion in the preceding post as background, here is a list of my system’s current projected Automatic Qualifiers and Adjusted RPI Top 60 teams, with the Top 60, at the top, placed in order based on how they meet the Committee’s historic patterns for at large selections.  I believe this is more useful, at this point in the season, than putting the teams in some other order:

Remember, there will be 31 Automatic Qualifiers and 33 at large selections.  Also, where potential at large teams currently meet some At Large In standards and some At Large Out standards, I expect that by the end of the season these situations mostly will disappear so that almost all teams will meet only In standards, only Out standards, or no In or Out standards.
