2018 SIMULATED NCAA TOURNAMENT BRACKET 9.17.2018

Here is this week's simulated NCAA Tournament bracket based on the actual results of games played through Sunday, September 16, and the simulated results of games yet to be played (including conference tournaments).  There may be significant changes next week, when I change the method for simulating the results of games not yet played (see two posts above).  For example, the current simulation shows Mississippi State still ending the season with a record below 0.500 and thus not qualifying for an at large selection.  When I change the simulation method next week to use current ARPI ratings as the simulation's base, I anticipate their simulated end-of-season record will be above 0.500 and the simulation will be giving them at least an at large selection.

2 = #2 seed
3 = #3 seed
4 = #4 seed
5 = unseeded Automatic Qualifier
6 = at large selection
7 = Top 60 team not getting an at large selection
8 = Top 60 team not eligible for at large selection due to record below 0.500
9 = Top 80 team that might compete for an at large selection if in the Top 60
